For print without negative, we can copy to a new negative. For document with text and color image with gradation, or for multiple prints, we need to copy.

Copying stand is the best for large scale work. Otherwise, we can use tripod with horizontal arm for vertical copying. With the tripod only, we can put the object in vertical position for horizontal copying. Vertical copying is easier, just to put the object levelly on any card or wood plate. Horizontal copying has to fix the object on vertical with adhesive tape.

Use two lamps with equal power for lighting, the best angle is 30 degree. The illumination must be even for the whole object. Use a macro lens or standard lens. Focus on one-third from the center of object. Choose a smaller aperture, f/8 or f/11.

Our demonstration used an enlarger lens, which is better for copying. To fit the enlarger lens to the camera, we use the universal screw mount adapter.
