The quality of photography is a complete control from exposure to photo finishing. From the early days, it is a need for adjustments after exposure, which includes retouching, dodging, contrast control etc. Some may choose special techniques, for example, montage, solarisation, reticulation etc.

To master B/W and color photo finishing, we can base on experience. Studying Sensitometry to build our knowledge to control film, exposure and photo finishing would be a good starting. Since we are not performing scientific research, we do not need to prove and further research any theory. An understanding is enough for photographic technique.

We shall work on the practical demonstration of all films, chemicals etc. as reference for our readers.
