Open the top lid.
With reverse count mechanmical timer, it is better to start it with 30 sec. more than required and wait till the time matched to start. Electronic timer can be started together with processing.
The tank should be tilt at 45 degree to allow air flowing out when liquid is filling in.
Every time liquid is filled, shake and place the top lid as fast as possible.
For inverted agitation, the hand must hold from the top lid to the body of tank. This will make the cap and top lid firmly in position avoiding chemicals throwing out during agitation.
Inverted agitation is from levelly upward to levelly bottom up and return. This cycle is count as one agitation.
The cap must be held tight when liquid is pouring out. Keep in position until liquid coming down in drops, then shake a few times.
When processing is completed, take the reels out and have the film clips ready.
The film is called negative now. First clip one end of negative. Then lift out the whole roll of negative and clip the other end. With the weighted clip at bottom, hanging it at dust-free area. The best drying will have the negative in total flatness.
According to instruction from Kodak, the shaking, tank holding and agitation method is different from us. It depends on the size of palm to choose. However, we have tested both agitation and found that Kodak's way has a better contrast and our way has better fine grain result.
