3. This is taken with Kodak TRI-X, EI 400, D76 Dilution 1:1 developer, enlarged to 6"x9".
4. Same negative has been blown up to 72"X48", this part is about 6"x9" of the whole screen.

Standard observation should be 2.5 times the diagonal, for the full size that gave Image No.4 would be at 5.5 metre. Tri-X has been developed some yeas ago, and D76 is just a general developer, it shows that with proper control, fine grain negative of such quality can be achieved.
5. This is part of Image No.4, with 330x220 pixel only.

The maximum enlargement depends on the granularity of negative. If an extra-mural photo is required, the gradation and sharpness should still be recognised. As for Image 5, it is for you to judge.
